There are over 200 plots at the allotment. Full plots are generally between 125m2 and 150m2, though some have been divided in two, to make a unit that is more easily managed. Use of these plots is restricted to members who are either plot holders or helpers. All members have to agree to follow the Code of Conduct.
Plot holders
Plots can be held either by a single Plot holder or by two Joint plot holders. All plot holders become members of Grange Lane Allotments and, by extension, members of the Camberwell and District Allotment Society Ltd. Plots are allocated through a waiting list. Once you hare reached the top of the list and have agreed on a plot, you have to sign a tenancy agreement, which can be found here
Helpers
It is also possible to garden on the site as a Helper, who are usually attached to a particular plot and work with its plot holder(s).
Helpers rights and responsibilities are set out here
Code of Conduct
Details of the Code of Conduct agreed to by all members can be found here.
