2024/2025
In the 2018 AGM we agreed to increase plot rentals annually by RPI, which we have done every year except in 2022/23 when the increase was held at £1, or 1.4%, well below the RPI at the time which was 11.8%. This was due to cost of living concerns at the time. This years above RPI increase takes us back to what our plot rentals would have been if we had increased them at RPI for 2022/23.
This will take fees for next year to £94 for a full plot and £47.00 for a half plot. We have also been informed by CDAS Ltd that membership fees will go up from £3.00 to £3.50. In addition, we will be collecting a one-off £1 Co-op membership fee which is a stipulation of our becoming a Co-op.
- The renewal year is from the 1st November and payment reminders and invoices sent out from mid October.
- This year cash payments only will be taken between 9.30am and 10.00am on the 24th November ahead of the AGM at the Scout Hut
- If payment is not received by the 30th November 2024 the Committee will be free (i) to assume that you no longer wish to be a member and (ii) to re-let the plot.
- If members find these increases present any difficulties to them, we encourage you to talk confidentially with Tyrrell Evans, Grange Lane Chair, or other committee members.
- Through renewal plot holders and helpers confirm they will adhere to the GLA rules and regulations (as they stand) and to all future rules and regulations approved by the membership
