The following plants were identified growing wild on our allotment this year, by Geoffrey Norman, member of the Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland (BSBI) and the Surrey Botanical Society (SBS).
If you are interested in learning more about our local flora, he recommends the website of The South London Botanical Institute, situated at Tulse Hill. The Institute organises walks, in the Spring and Summer, looking for/at wild flowers and these are open to members and non-members, experts and beginners alike.
